Awesome Nona’s

Chatted to two extraodinary nonagenarians .. one busy at an allotment and another also helping her family do gardening who had flown over to visit them here in the UK – from Australia.

They were both full of life and mischievous, amazing ladies probably with incredible stories to tell.

One of them said that maybe the generation who had survived the war, were a tough lot and wanted to enjoy life as long as they could (“thou felt the Government didn’t want that”)

Seems some people as they get older, feel they become invisible or should be invisible – but hope they feel happy and healthy enough to do completely the opposite
