Wrong Train

                                     Wrong Train

Captured, unenraptured, on the slow train to Woking

Cluttered, flustered, feeling like exploding
Bad coffee, stale cake, “This one isn’t stopping”
Rusty rails, squealing carriages, going slow-e-r and s-l-o–w–e—-r
back to the beginning.

Time to think,
Interesting diversity
shapes and sizes of humanity

Warm train air flows up the platform
Waiting, suspended

“Mind the Gap – the train now approaching
is on its way to – nowhere”
